Today’s appointment with my oncologist was filled with good reports. He said the MRI from last week looked good and that things are progressing well – inflamation going down, etc. He dropped me back by 1 mg on the steroids, as we continue to taper off of them. He did say my blood platelet count was way low and that I should not plan to start back on the chemo drug until 2 more weeks. They will recheck my platelet count next Monday to see where it is then. But, the rest of the resports were good, and that is what we had wanted and hoped to hear. More news next week.
