Hello one and all,
Things have been popping since the last time I sat down to write. Carol has been through an in-patient physical therapy stay of 10 days at Skyline Med. Cntr. where they worked her very hard. She has returned very much stronger! Yea! Now she is attending Star Physical Therapy twice a week and beginning tomorrow (6/13) I will be supervising home sessions as well. Pray for us both.
The chemo is progressing every two weeks until we can get a firm baseline established; then it may be increased. A MRI next week will be a crucial hurdle as to what is going on in there. The side-effects seem to be limited to minor nausea and general lack of energy; thus a lot of naps.
Carol has successfully applied for Social Security Disability status. Now we have to determine if this includes Medicare/Medicade. This is all new ground to us. If you have any firm knowledge in this area, I would like to hear from you.
I am pursuing teaching positions in Maury Co. and Franklin Special School District. Please pray that I find favor with someone. After all, it is the LORD’s business if He wants me to teach or work retail or stay home.
