Things change so quickly sometimes that we are reduced to numb existence day-to-day. Our current situations are as follows: 1. Carol and I found out yesterday that chemo could no longer make any difference in the progression of her desease. We are now investigating hospise services both here at home and also residential. More on this as we learn. 2. Two weeks ago a biopsy revealed that I have Prostate cancer. I will be undergoing the DeVinci robotic surgery sometime around the end of this month. The doctor is confident since it is a very localized tumor, and I am so young (?).
Carol and I are determined to be a light through all of the coming trials and focused of God’s glory. Please pray to that end. These are not sad days, just the next days, and to that end we lay all of our selves at His feet. Time will go on.
To that end, I invite you to visit a new adventure I am beginning: hljdiscountmeds.com. This is a web-based pharmacy for discounted pharmaceuticals, vitamins, herbals, and pet meds. If you find something you need, I’d greatly appreciate you business.
Again, Carol and I crave you prayers,
Lucky

Dear Lucky; I was down town last week and dropped in to visit with Carol. I was about 10:30 a.m. and Carol was in a deep sleep. They had sedated her earlier in the morning and we were unable to communicate. I just want you to know that my husband Dave and I continue to pray for Carol every day. We are so pleased and grateful that you have responded to the prostate surgery and are in a healing process. God is faithful even when He appears to be silent. We will conitnue to lift both of you up in prayer for strength and healing. With prayer, Carol
